Senior Accountant - Onsite (Monterey Park, CA)
Full-time | $80,000-$95,000 | Onsite M-F, 9am-6pm

Our client-an established real estate and storage facilities company in Southern California-is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their team. This is an excellent role for a seasoned accounting professional who thrives in a small to mid-size business environment, enjoys driving operational improvements, and wants to play a key role in stabilizing and modernizing accounting processes.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 5-8 years of hands-on accounting experience in a small to mid-size company
  • Strong track record of job stability
  • Experience improving or implementing accounting systems and processes
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks Online
  • Experience with SiteLink (preferred; used in mini storage environments)
  • Ability to work onsite Monday-Friday in Monterey Park, CA

What You'll Do

  • Lead the full month-end close process with complete ownership
  • Maintain strong, accurate balance sheet reconciliations
  • Manage multi-entity accounting
  • Clean up and standardize existing books and accounting workflows
  • Identify and implement process improvements, new tools, or system enhancements (including AI assist where appropriate)
  • Collaborate closely with leadership through clear, concise communication
  • Support the transition of responsibilities due to retirement
